October 24, 1971 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac, Mi. a baby girl opens her eyes and sees the world for the first time at 10:17am. If you ask her proud Daddy he will tell you, "she was born right in the middleof Bull-Winkle". Yes these were the days when Daddies weren't in the delivery rooms routinely so he saw his first born daughter soon afterwards. Weighing in at 6 lb 11 oz and 20" long Wendy Heather Tolin is born.
Wendy is our first born and will be our "experimental" baby because we will learn first hand of what to do and not do as parents...Wendy survived and so did we. The years to follow brought many moments of both trials and joy as our first born went through growing up. We even got to grow up with her. She graduated from Hazel Park High School and went onto bigger and better things. On Nov. 9, 1996 she was joined in marriage as she took her wedding vows and married Jason Ritter.
On Jan. 31, 1995, 6:56pm at Wm. Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mi. Wendy gave birth to her son, Austin Hunter Nicolas Tolin-Ritter, (born at 33 weeks following preterm labor) her first born and our second grandson. This is only the second time we heard Baby Boy Tolin.
On March 2,1998, 7:46pm at Macomb Community Hospital in Warren, Mi. Wendy gave birth to her second born and our second granddaughter. Savannah Cheyenne Ritter entered the world, our hearts and our family.
On May 12, 2001 (just 1 hour and 58 minutes before Mother's Day) Wendy's second daughter, Brooke Shelby Ritter saw her first light of day making a family of five now.
On Dec. 1, 2004 at Huron Medical Center, Justin William Ritter entered the world and our family. He weighed in at 6 lbs 6 3/4 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long born at 2:02am. Welcome to the family little guy.
We could not be any prouder and feel more blessed that Wendy was given to us by God to love and raise and what she means to us. Wendy you are special to us and we love you...Mom, Dad, your sisters and brothers.
